I really love the dark atmosphere of this one. The sun rays slanted through the surrounding stalks and weeds, so that the blossom was in "spotlight" :).

The bright yellow areas are a bit overexposed, I didn't notice it when I took the photo. It's not too dramatic, though.

Oh, you're asking the wrong one. I have no idea of botanics ;) I love flowers but for some reason I've never cared about their names :). Sorry for that :D.

I have a Canon EOS 300D. It's a digital reflex camera, but a bit dated by now. However, it produces great pics; I use a Sigma 105mm F2.8 Macro lens for my closeups. In fact, I hardly use any other lens than that, it's my favourite one ;). I aim to get a big tele lens (up to 300mm), though, if only they wouldn't cost a fortune :D...

Faved because it is awesome. I love how that one flower is lit up, it looks all dramatic! Its a nice contrast since the surrounding flowers are purply and in the dinginess. I could look at this for quite a while:)
